Carefully administering oral medication to an elderly cat at home in Bournemouth
Medication care

The care other pet sitters often can’t take on.

If your pet needs medication, monitoring or just a more experienced eye while you’re away, my veterinary background means we can both relax. I’ve spent years giving meds, taking observations and recognising when something isn’t quite right.

BVSc trained · Fully insured

Insulin & injectables

Diabetic cats and dogs are very welcome. I’m confident with subcutaneous injections, sliding-scale regimens and recognising hypo / hyper signs early.

Tablets, liquids & eye drops

Oral medication, including the tricky-to-pill cats. Eye drops, ear drops, topicals — all delivered calmly and recorded for every visit.

Post-op & recovery monitoring

Just home from surgery? I’ll watch wounds, check appetite, manage pain relief and keep movement gentle until your pet is back on their feet.

Chronic & elderly care

Kidney disease, arthritis, thyroid conditions, dementia — long-term and end-of-life care delivered patiently and without judgement.

What to expect

  1. 1. Free meet & greet. We sit down with your pet, the medication and your vet’s instructions, and walk through everything together.
  2. 2. Written care plan. Doses, timings, emergency contacts and your vet’s details — all written down.
  3. 3. Visit-by-visit updates. Every visit you’ll get a short message with photos and a note on how your pet is doing.
  4. 4. Vet liaison if needed. Happy to contact your usual vet on your behalf if anything needs attention.
